BATHROOM LOCK

Function : PRIVACY

Latchbolt is operated by lever handle from both sides. Deadbolt for privacy is operated by inside snib turn. External emercency release with indicator if required.

Usage :

Any bathroom, toilet, examination or similar room where privacy is required but where access in emergency is desired.

DEADLOCK

Function : SECURITY

Key operates bolt from outside. Can, additionally, have key or turn operation from inside.

Usage :

Corridor, store, entrance and lockable lobby doors where a pull handle/ push plate combination is being used. Can also be used on duct doors.

LATCH

Function : FREE ACCESS

Latchbolt is withdrawn by lever handle from both sides. No security is provided.

Usage :

Doors which are required to be held shut for environmental or privacy reasons. Not usually specified for self-closing corridor or lobby doors.

NIGHTLATCH OPTION B

Function : APARTMENT

A nightlatch is a self-locking latch; the door is locked as soon as it is shut. Key withdraws bolt from outside. Lever handle withdraws bolt from inside. Bolt is security protected by anti-thrust latch.

Usage :

Entrance doors where door is required to be always secure from outside and where escape from inside is desired. Shared front doors to flats. Cash office doors or anywhere where a medium level of security is required. Can also be used on duct access doors and similar doors where fire regulations require the door to be “kept locked shut”. Not suitable for fully glazed doors.

SASH LOCK

Function : CONTROLLED ACCESS

Latchbolt is operated by lever handle from both sides. Deadbolt and latchbolt are operated by key from outside and either turn or key from inside.

Usage :

Doors which are required to be held shut for privacy or environmental reasons but also to be capable of being locked for security purposes. Not usually specified for self-closing corridor or lobby doors.
