A senior architectural technician based in London with experience in the production of information for planning, building control, tender and construction.

An Associate member of CIAT offering services which include the preparation of design drawings, detail drawings, NBS Chorus specifications, surveys and reports in addition to the provision of a direct line of communication for technical enquiries.

Software experience includes the application of BIM Level 2 on both new-build

and refurbishment projects .

SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

SERVICES & WORK EXPERIENCE :
A sound knowledge of the Building Regulations [both English & Scottish] in addition to having a working knowledge and experience of the requirements and processes needed for the submission of planning applications.
Excellent verbal,written and graphical communication skills.
Ability to produce high quality detailed drawings for all stages of construction.
Ability to produce high quality technical and production drawings with an awareness of the balance between design and technical aspects of a project.
Ability to produce full NBS Chorus specifications.
Primary work experience within architectural offices ( additional office experience within both interior design & multi-disciplinary environments).
Experience of both new-build & refurbishment construction projects.
Experience in the interpretation and development of schematic drawings.
Ability to consult with clients, structural,mechanical and electrical engineers as required during the preparation of plans and specifications.
Experience in the maintenance of project administration files as per office procedures.
Experience of reviewing and checking of consultants and manufacturer’s drawings for accuracy.
